Works even when your site blocks inbound REST access. == Description == AiM Blog Engine (part of AI Marketing Automations) writes SEO-focused blog posts for real-estate professionals. This plugin connects your WordPress site to your AiM account and brings those posts in as **drafts you review** before publishing. **Why a plugin?** The plugin connects *outbound* from your site to AiM, so it works even when your site blocks inbound REST requests — for example when it's behind Cloudflare or a firewall, or on hosts where Application Passwords aren't available. You do **not** need a WordPress Application Password to use it. **How it works** 1. In your AiM account, open Brand System → Connections → WordPress and copy your Connect Code. 2. Install and activate this plugin, go to Settings → AiM Blog Engine, and paste the code. 3. That's it. New posts arrive automatically as drafts on a schedule; review and publish when you're ready. Posts always arrive as **drafts** — nothing is published to your live site automatically. == External service == This plugin connects to the AiM Blog Engine service (operated by AI Marketing Academy) to receive the blog posts you generate there. This connection is required for the plugin to function. * **What is sent to AiM:** your site URL, the Connect Code you paste (once, to link the site), the plugin version, and — after each post is imported — the resulting local post ID, URL, and status (so your AiM dashboard can show where the post is). * **What is received from AiM:** the blog posts queued for this site (title, content, excerpt, optional slug and featured-image URL). Content is stored as post data only; no code is executed. * **When:** only after you connect (paste your Connect Code). The plugin makes no external requests before that. * Service website: https://apps.aimarketingacademy.com * Terms of Use: https://apps.aimarketingacademy.com/terms * Privacy Policy: https://apps.aimarketingacademy.com/privacy An active AiM Blog Engine account is required to use this plugin. == Frequently Asked Questions == = Do I need an Application Password? = No. Unlike a direct REST connection, this plugin authenticates outbound to your AiM account, so no Application Password is required. = Will it publish to my live site automatically? = No. Posts always arrive as drafts for you to review and publish. = Does it work behind Cloudflare? = Yes. Because the plugin connects outbound, inbound security challenges (Cloudflare, firewalls) don't block it. == Changelog == = 0.1.8 = * New: each post arrives with its SEO title, meta description and schema markup (structured data), the details that help it show up in Google and AI answers. The schema is added to the post's page automatically. * With Yoast SEO or Rank Math, the SEO title, meta description and focus keyphrase fill that plugin's fields when they're empty, so anything you've written there yourself stays. * Without an SEO plugin, the post's page gets its meta description and SEO title directly. = 0.1.7 = * New posts go in your blog category, so they appear on your blog page. It's the category you choose in AiM, or your site's own "Blog" (or "News", "Articles") category when you haven't chosen one. * Suggested categories are added only when your site already has them; the plugin never creates categories. * Posts arrive with their tags. * Updating a post never changes its categories, so categories you add yourself stay put. = 0.1.6 = * New: posts now arrive within seconds instead of waiting for the next scheduled check. AiM tells your site when something is ready, so delivery no longer depends on your site getting a visitor to trigger WordPress's scheduler. * Fixed: the 15-minute check is re-scheduled on every load, so it can no longer be lost for good if something clears WordPress's scheduled tasks. * Added: a warning on the settings screen when WordPress's scheduler has stopped running. = 0.1.5 = * Packaging and metadata updates for the WordPress.org Plugin Directory. = 0.1.4 = * Report plugin + WordPress version on each sync so connection health shows in AiM. = 0.1.3 = * Beta channel: update notices in wp-admin for sites installed outside the WordPress.org directory. = 0.1.2 = * Assign imported posts to a valid author so publishing works reliably from the background sync. * Report the reason back to AiM when a post can't be created, and retry on the next sync. = 0.1.1 = * Add a Connect/Settings shortcut on the Plugins screen that opens the settings page. = 0.1.0 = * Initial release: connect with a Connect Code, pull queued posts as drafts, sideload featured images.
