Mobile-friendly experience across all devices. == External services == This plugin connects to the Lobbychat service (https://app.lobbychat.ai) in three ways: **1. Chatbot widget script** When the chatbot is enabled, the plugin loads a JavaScript file from `https://app.lobbychat.ai/embed/{your-chatbot-id}.js` on every public page of your website. This script renders the AI chatbot widget for your guests. No personal visitor data is sent to Lobbychat beyond what the guest types into the chat window. **2. Enable / disable sync** When you toggle the chatbot on or off from the WordPress admin, the plugin sends a request to `https://app.lobbychat.ai/api/public/chatbots/{your-chatbot-id}/set-active` to keep your widget status in sync with the Lobbychat dashboard. Only the chatbot ID and the enabled/disabled state are transmitted. This plugin requires an active Lobbychat account. By using this plugin you agree to the Lobbychat Terms of Service and Privacy Policy: * Terms of Service: https://lobbychat.ai/terms-conditions/ * Privacy Policy: https://lobbychat.ai/privacy-policy **3. Setup-request API and emails** Only when a WordPress administrator submits the Get Started form, the plugin sends the entered name, hotel website, email address, current WordPress site URL, plugin version, and a random request identifier over HTTPS to `https://app.lobbychat.ai/api/public/plugin/setup-requests`. Lobbychat stores the enquiry securely for its internal administrators and sends the team notification and customer confirmation through its own mail service. The hotel does not need to configure WordPress mail or SMTP. Submitted details and the server receipt are also stored in WordPress options to show confirmation on return and prevent duplicate requests. A retry after a network failure reuses its request identifier. No credentials are embedded in the plugin, and no accounts, users or chatbots are created by submitting this form. Existing locally saved requests are not automatically uploaded when upgrading. No visitor tracking is added. == Changelog == = 2.1.0 = * Setup requests are saved in Lobbychat's admin inbox before notifications are sent. * Send requests directly over HTTPS; no dependency on the hotel's WordPress email setup. * Preserve submission receipts and prevent duplicates across network retries. * Existing connected chatbots and account settings are unchanged.
