# Professional Journalist Mode

Professional journalist mode is available for research-based articles.

## Purpose

The plugin can still use RSS items, source URLs, summaries and editorial notes as private research context, but the public article body is written as an original newsroom-style article without visible source references.

## What it removes from the public article

When enabled, the article-generation prompt tells the AI not to publish:

- source names
- publisher names
- RSS/feed wording
- source URLs
- attribution phrases such as “according to”, “as reported by”, “reports say”, or “sources say”
- external links in the article body

The post publisher also removes hyperlinks from the generated public body and suppresses the visible research-source note.

## What is still stored privately

The plugin still stores source metadata in WordPress post meta for editorial tracking:

- `_agizpuai_research_source_name`
- `_agizpuai_research_source_title`
- `_agizpuai_research_source_url`
- `_agizpuai_research_published_at`
- `_agizpuai_journalist_no_source_references`

## Settings

Go to **AgizoAI Publisher → Settings → Default Article Settings**.

Enable:

`Professional journalist mode by default`

This is enabled by default.

## Manual generation

On **AgizoAI Publisher → Generate Article**, the same checkbox appears so you can enable or disable it per article.

## Editorial warning

This mode is useful when you want original editorial articles that do not look like rewritten source material. However, for sensitive, legal, financial, medical or controversial news, the editor should manually verify all claims before publishing.
