# 01 — Installation

## Requirements

- WordPress 6.0 or newer.
- PHP 8.1 or newer.
- Administrator access to WordPress.
- At least one supported text AI provider API key: OpenAI, Claude / Anthropic, Google Gemini or a custom OpenAI-compatible API.
- Optional: an image-capable API setup if you want WEBP featured images.

## Install the Plugin

1. In WordPress, open **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**.
2. Upload the ZIP file.
3. Click **Install Now**.
4. Activate **AgizoAI Publisher**.
5. Open **AgizoAI Publisher → Setup Wizard**.

## First Setup

1. Choose your text AI provider.
2. Add the matching API key and model name.
3. Save the setup wizard.
4. Open **Settings** and click **Verify Selected AI Provider**.
5. Choose your default language, tone and post status.
6. Keep the default post status as **Draft** until your workflow is tested.
7. Generate one test article and review it before publishing.

## Recommended First Test

- Use a short article length.
- Disable featured image generation until text generation is confirmed.
- Save as draft.
- Check the generated title, SEO title, meta description, focus keyphrase, body content and tags.
