# 09 — Troubleshooting

## API key verifies but article generation fails

Possible causes:

- Selected model is not available to your account
- Account has insufficient credits
- Server timed out
- Model returned invalid JSON

Try a smaller article length first.

## RSS feed imports nothing

Possible causes:

- Wrong RSS URL
- Feed blocked by source website
- Source has no new items
- Duplicate URLs already imported
- Server blocks outbound requests

Test the feed URL directly in your browser.

## Featured image not generated

Possible causes:

- Image model unavailable
- Insufficient OpenAI credits
- Host timeout
- WordPress upload folder not writable
- WebP upload blocked by a security plugin

Check **AgizoAI Publisher → Logs**.

## SEO fields not showing in SEO plugin

Try:

1. Set SEO write mode to **All**.
2. Save the article again.
3. Check the plugin's own SEO box.
4. If still missing, add custom meta keys in settings.

## Scheduled post not publishing

WordPress scheduled publishing depends on WP-Cron. Configure real server cron if your site has low traffic.

## Timeout on bulk processing

Reduce the bulk limit. Use 3–5 posts at a time, especially when featured image generation is enabled.

## SEO Tools skipped my draft/pending posts

Use **AgizoAI Publisher → SEO Tools**, choose the correct status such as **Draft**, **Pending Review** or **All editable statuses**, then run with a small limit. If posts are skipped because old SEO metadata already exists, select **Force update selected posts**. the tool checks essential SEO fields instead of skipping when only one SEO meta value exists.

## Published post still showed as draft/drafted

The dashboard and generation history read the actual WordPress post status whenever a generated post is linked to the queue. If a post is published from the normal WordPress editor, the plugin synchronises the queue status automatically through the `transition_post_status` hook.
