# WordPress 7.1 Compatibility

This release was code-audited for WordPress 7.1 compatibility. The plugin does not directly manipulate the Gutenberg editor canvas, depend on @wordpress/components, use jQuery UI, or intercept WordPress browser media uploads. Existing REST routes use explicit permission callbacks, and administrative actions retain capability and nonce checks.

A final activation/smoke test on WordPress 7.1 and Plugin Check is recommended before production release.

## v1.1.0 native agent integration

Version 1.1.0 adds optional WordPress Abilities API integration when WordPress 6.9 or newer is available. On WordPress 7.1, eligible abilities use the public exposure metadata introduced for external clients. The abilities are read-only and reuse the plugin's existing public-content filtering. The agentic readiness-report ability additionally requires an authenticated administrator.

The plugin does not bundle the WordPress MCP Adapter. Compatible sites may install the official adapter separately to expose eligible abilities over MCP.

Version 1.1.0 also adds a machine-readable `/ai.json` profile and WordPress Site Health checks. These additions do not change human-facing content or browser upload/media processing.
